Singer/songwriter Michael Barry is the founder of the bands Pooka Stew, and Super Genius. From Babyland Studio in historic Medford, Massachusetts, he's recorded, produced, played guitar, or sang with artists as diverse as Dave Mattacks, Feast of Fiddles, Debra Cowan, Lily Black, Hyber, The Knock-Ups, Tom Courtney, Why Not Be Lovely, Susan Cattaneo, Danny Peck, Michael Carpenter, The New Zeitgeist, The Lucky Nows - and many more.

With friends Dave Mattacks (Fairport Convention), Syd Straw (The Golden Palominos), Elizabeth Steen (Natalie Merchant), Chris Anzalone (Roomful of Blues), Dean Cassell (John Cafferty), Richard Gates (Dennis Brennan), and William Barry (Lily Black), he’s recorded his first solo album, “Party at the End of the World.” It’s his first release of original music since the 2007 Super Genius album, “Heel Thyself.”
